Ah, Thanksgiving. My favorite holiday of the year, followed by my favorite non-holiday, day of the year, Black Friday. You all remember the things I love about Thanksgiving, right? Well this year, I'm super excited as always, to celebrate another year of delicious food and the tryptophan hangover. But fortunately or unfortunately, this will be a somewhat untradtional Thankgiving for me there. Let's review the good and the bad things about this year, shall we?
Just a 20-something Atlanta native, trying to figure out this crazy, mixed-up world. And laughing at myself and everyone else in the process.

West Coast Woes
It feels like deja vu all over again. Most of you will remember back in May when the most devastating of all devastations hit me: my biffle moved to Los Angeles. It was a sad day that literally made me cry when I met her at the airport to say goodbye. Sophia was off to sunny california to pursue the fashion world by attending FIDM, landing a killer internship and working for Michael Kors in the process. All whilst gallivanting with beautiful celebrities in a little place I like to call Paradise. Sophia would be the seventh of my close close friends who moved away from Hot-lanta in the last year. I'm starting to think that I either suck as a friend or I smell really bad. J-baz moved to the beach in Charleston, Coffaro headed back home to Cincy, Patty took off for Saint Diaaaago. Megs moved to Oregon for grad school and her boyfriend, Catherine hit the Big Apple and Wendy moved to Missouri. And now, my best friend in the whole world, Erin is moving to San Fran.

Thank God BSB is tonight, otherwise Eff My Life
So...the day has arrived...the loves of my life are returning to the stage at Chastain Amphitheatre! That's right! Backstreet's Back Alright!!!!!!!!! And thank GOD for that. This morning on my way to work, my car completely died. Like, engine went kaput. I had to deal with AAA and Hertz and didn't get to work until an hour ago. I should probably NOT be blogging right now, but working instead, BUT I simply can't NOT acknowledge that the Backstreet Boys are coming to Atlanta tonight so here we sit. I'll make this short and sweet.

Holy 1996
So I don't normally blog twice in one day but I just HAD to mention this this afternoon because if I don't then I'll forget about it by tomorrow's post - which sucks - and also it will have nothing to do with WTW so it wouldn't be fitting. Not to mention I'm not working Thurs which means I definitely won't be blogging then(because it's what i do to pass the time, jk, but not really, or am i?) and by the time friday rolls around i REALLY will have forgotten.
So I was jammin out in my car on the way back from lunch and switched the station to 99x. My all-time favorite radio station evs! 99x was probably the first REAL radio station I listened to once I finally started appreciating music of my generation.

SANTAAAA!!!!!! OH MY GOD! SANTA'S COMING! I KNOW HIM! I KNOW HIM!!!
So today's blog is going to be a tribute of some of my favorite Christmas videos. Tis the season right?
First, I gotta give a shout to Sophia. She posted this video on her blog and it cracked me up, so thank you! I don't know about you guys but 24 was probably one of my favorite shows for the first 4 or 5 seasons. Jack Bauer is so bad-ass. And I will always hate Nina Myers with every fiber of my being. When I see her in other movies and shows now I just can't get past that raging bitch of a character and I just want to wipe that little smirk right off her face and shake her until her brain bleeds. ok whoa, I need to calm it down a little there. She's just such a raging bitch and so manipulative! I got REALLY in to Season 1 of 24 if you can't tell. And if you haven't watched it, I highly suggest you ask for it for Christmas (which is only 2 days away!!!) and watch it from start to finish in one weekend. Totally worth it. Anyway, here's the first Christmas video that I'll share with you all. Enjoy!

Attack of the Christmas Sweaters!!!!!
It's Friday in December so you know what that means: There's a Tacky Christmas Sweater party in every apartment complex in Buckhead and on every other street corner. And I, for one, am so excited! Tacky Christmas sweater parties are always fun. Last year I went to a friend's party and actually won 2nd place for the tackiest outfit. I wore one of my mother's (bless her heart) favorite red sweaters that has 3-d embroidered wreaths all over it, paired it with a black skirt, some knee high socks with bells on the top, my high black boots which I wrapped red and green tinsel around, and some snowflake ornaments for earrings. I also had my mom's Santa pin in the middle of her 3-d wreath sweater, a big red bow in my hair and finally a GIANT puffy red bow on my ass. I mean this thing was probably 18-20 inches wide. Found it at Wal-mart and I'm pretty sure it's supposed to go on your front door, but I decided to get creative and put it on my back door - HEY-OOHH!!!
