Watch This! Wednesday is back!!

Man have I been lax with this weekly special recently. Sorry I'm not sorry...not posting means I have some semblance of a life...so that's fun. But alas, I am here today and I'm going to do my damndest to start posting these pretty regularly again. Today's WTW is something that I became slightly obsessed with a few months back when my best friend Stuart told me about it. Some of you may already enjoy this but for those of you who haven't discovered this yet, allow me. Today I give you: Very Mary Kate. Below are a few of my favesies. Enjoy!

WTW: Boys will be Girls Part TWO

Hey guys,

Sorry i've been so MIA for the last week. I celebrated my birthday from Wednesday through the wee hours of the morning on Sunday and woke up feeling deathly ill on Sunday. Haven't been at work for 2 days and am finally back in the office. I know you've missed me dearly and I've thought of many ways to make it up to you for the remainder of the week, including sexual favors, baking cookies and lying on my couch in my underwear watching The Hills marathon now that the series is over for GOOD. (the last one I may or may not have done all day yesterday).

Anyone who reads this blog regularly knows that I am a HUGE Harvard Sailing Team fan. And if you think I'm talking about the actual sailing team at the university then you clearly don't read my blog.

Watch This! Wednesday - Return from Vacay

Thank you Beach Boys. I just got back from a FABULOUS trip to the west coast and I absolutely, with every fiber of my being, did NOT want to return home. First of all, my bestie Sophia lives out there. I had absolutely the best time ever! Got to do some shopping on Rodeo Drive, saw the Walk of Fame, ate at pinkberry, went to Santa Monica, went to Laguna Beach and saw where Kristen and Steven used to have all their "special talks", saw the NY Smiths (who were HILARIOUS) and lots more. I bought a new purse and some new clothes (LA's H&M's are so much better than Atlantas!) and am officially broke as a joke. But it was worth it. Sooooo worth it.

Happy Wednesday everyone!

Most of you who know me, know that I am not really a pet person. It's not that I don't like animals - but I just never grew up around animals so I am not what one would normally call a "pet person". However, many of you also know that I currently live with a cat - my roommate's cat. And she's kind of a bitch, but tolerable. She acts more like a dog than a cat in some ways - which is good in my opinion - but she also has her typical Queen Bitch attitude that most other cats have as well. Thank God she's not a long-haired cat like Sassy from Homeward Bound. Those long-haired cats seem to act more entitled than the short-haired cats. Anyway, today's Watch This! Wednesday is for my roommate - who has a cat. Sometimes Briggs can be a real pesky pain in the ass. And today's WTW is an educational video about "How to Put the Spark Back in Your Relationshp With Your Cat":

So today's WTW is not your typical stupid/funny video. This week I gotta give props to my good buddy Tyler Herrin!!! You remember Tyler, right? He's recently released his new album A Simple Necessary and it's kind of the shit. And he's kind of the shit. No? Don't believe me? Well, let me show you JUST how cool Tyler is. The video below is Tyler who got called up on stage at the BARE NAKED LADIES concert last Saturday!!! He got pulled up on stage to actually PLAY! With the BAND!! And this is not just some band for Tyler, it's like his all-time, inspired-him-to-learn-the-guitar-in-the-first-place, favorite band in the world!

Ok so before I get started on this week's WTW, I have to share 2birds1blog with you. You remember a couple weeks ago when I threw back to 1996? K's Choice? Not an Addict? Ringing any bells? Well, part of my morning routine when I get to work is: Start up computer. Load office email. Load Internet Explorer. Click 2b1b from my igoogle. Read today's post while eating my breakfast and drinking coffee. And today I was BLOWN AWAY! Meggles threw back to middle school and DAMN did she hit some hot songs. I don't know about you kids but I am exhausted today. Sophia and I went to Shout for Round 2 of the Drag Show last night and I had a RULL rough time getting out of bed this morning. Not from drinking but just from lack of sleep. I hate that I have to be at the office by a certain time every day. I totes wish I could make my own hours (but we all know that would result in me sleeping til noon every day and not being productive in the slightest), but c'est la vie!

Watch This! Wednesday - CINCO DE MAYO EDITION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok maybe I got a little carried away with the exclamation points...my apologies...but really I don't care because today is one of my favorite American Holidays, Cinco de Mayo!!!!!!!!!! Yep, it's right up there behind Thanksgiving and Black Friday, and My Birthday, and St. Patty's and Fourth of July. Cinco (that's spanish for 5 for all you unedjumacated folks out there) de Mayo falls into 6th place on my list (#fail).

However, it is Sophia's 2nd favorite holiday and for that, I must acknowledge the holiday and embrace the margaritas. Yes and Please! So I was doing a little searching for your WTW this morning -- because let's face it...I am a slacker and definitely waited til the last minute to find something -- and I decided that I wanted the WTW to fit with today's holiday and not just be some LOLZ-Hilarious-Idk-where-this-came-from video.

Ok, so today's WTW is not exactly what I had planned. And I hate that I'm recycling a video from another blogger (thank you 2b1b) BUT, this might be one of the funniest things I've ever seen. Like ever. And I know I continuously say this but seriously I have the maturity of a 12 year old most of the time so if you understand that about me, you can understand why this week's Watch This! Wednesday is so funny to me. But do me a HUGE favor before you hit play and just turn your volume up. The weeping screams of a child just MAKE this video.

Hope you all are having a glorious Wednesday like I am. Why is this Wednesday so glorious? Oh idk, probably because it's gorgeous outside, I have 2 days before I'm g-vegas bound and because it's WATCH THIS! Wednesday! Whatup!

Today's WTW is dedicated to a near and dear friend of mine, Daniel Tosh. Right, I WISH I was friends with that guy. If you all are not familiar with Daniel Tosh, he has a show on Comedy Central called Tosh.0, which is kind of like a funnier version of The Soup w/ Joel McHale, only it's for all things viral-video related as opposed to television. Today's video is kind of awesome, and I'll tell you why.

Sorry I've been MIA this week. I don't really have a good excuse except that I'm lazy and didn't have much good material to blog about (read: I was hungover and couldn't think straight most of Monday, thanks to Sunday Funday and Theresa's birthday on Saturday, whatup!). And the evenings have been filled with frolicking around the office and yummy places like Goldfish. I also got to dabble in a little Yacht Rock (much to my surprise) last night and despite what most people believe, I do have some semblance of a life so I don't spend all of my time on this blog. So, I think I want to create a weekly "column" if you will, dedicated to viral videos and dub it "Watch This! Wednesday". I have copious amounts of time on my hands apparently and, as you know, comedy is like breathing for me (and I don't say that to toot my own horn, quite the opposite in fact - it's more like I see the humor in things that are not funny to anyone else, I can't get enough out of comedians, funny shows, blogs, news articles, and shorts). It's a part of my every-day life. It's how I deal with awkward situations and it gets me to 5:00 every afternoon. Soooo, without further ado...I give you the first weekly Watch This!
